Ruth is a chartered accountant who enjoyed a successful senior management career at HBOS plc before leaving to work with a variety of businesses as finance director or interim executive. She has a wide range of experience in both new business start-ups and large corporate organisations.

Ruth launched Plato’s People in October 2007 to take advantage of the rapid growth in both internet based recruitment and the interim management market. Her vision is to create a site that is specifically tailored to the requirements of interim managers and independent professionals and which can provide business clients with a simple, cost effective way of accessing their talents.
